Signed
from Sherington under the Kit regime, was a striker but was clearly
too tall to play anywhere but centre back, where he had an excellent
season winning Players Player (or something like that)

in the Paper are not the most productive ways of getting new players
(remember the guy who was about 42 and trained in his work shirt?).
But Gareth is a prime example of why you should persevere with this
way of recruiting. He slotted in straight away, had a great attitude
and was also great socially. Was aslo a quality performer on the
pitch winning an individual award in his one and only season, sadly
moved away from the area, but will be remembered as a top bloke.

Recruited
from the 3 Trees Pub, gobby but an energetic wingback who can attack
& defend although better known for his fouling. Was a real asset
in the 03/04 season before dissappearing off the face of the earth
for a few seasons. Re-emerged in 2005 for the Sunday Team where
he was still useful but left again soon after the 07/08 season with
the reserves.

Big
old centre forward who looked too big & unorthadox to be any
good, but was a decent player. Had a good goal record for the Ressies
after joining the Club and was on the borderline of being a 1st
teamer. Dissappeared for a few seasons before playing in the 'old
boys' Sunday Side of 06/07 and despite being even bigger and immobile
somehow still managed to regularly find the net. Suffered a cruciate
injury which ended his career.
