With the way we are playing spirits were high and another change around saw Harty slot in up top Chunk moved into centre half and Harold pushed out to right back.

Splosh away on international coaching duties, Pete was left to give out the team talk and tactics; with all this on his plate he forgot that the other team were wearing the same colour kit as us!!

The game started and as previous weeks we started strong and won the battle in midfield and got on top of the game, pushing the wide men on we started to create chances turning there defence at every opportunity, E & H were getting some joy with there game plan being long 70 yard balls over the top getting no luck our back line dealing with it at ease, people who have watched us play will know that going 1 nil down is our favourite trick giving the opposition false hope, this happened again from a cross from the right chunk heading out and even if I do say a reasonable strike from there No7 giving Newsham no chance.
I’m not sure if them scoring was the best thing to do as for the next 75 mins we dominated the game in every sense drawing level almost immediately with a floated ball over there back line Homer running through and picking his spot 1-1.
It was 2-1 minutes later with Kyle who again had another brilliant game sliding a ball into Little Reedo’s path and poking it past the oncoming keeper, Not to be outdone Kirky picked up another goal with a straight drive into the corner, and we got one more before the half with Harold who rolled back the years on sat with a performance to proud of, playing a nice one two, crossed into the box to Homer who could have been the only player in the 18 yard box done the easy job of sticking it away, 4-1 at the half.

We had made Pete’s half time team talk easy (go and do the same again) so we did.

Not long into the second half we broke there back line again and Homer who at the min can’t stop scoring slide the ball past there keeper 5-1, we were playing brilliant stuff at times Trigger and Harold getting room to play at will, Chunk and Kingy not letting there front men even have a touch (bit unfair)  we were not done there Nigel was playing the ball around and with him and Kyle building a good partnership in the middle it was only time before we scored again Homer and Reedo linking up for Reedo to run past the left back into the box and drive the ball across the keeper into the net.
I haven’t mentioned Harty yet who had come back into the team and done everything but score making space and creating chances for others. Homer was to get one more with Harold and Reedo linking again Reedo rolling the ball to Homer to smash in from 6 yards 7-1
Noz came on to replace Nigel and Mitch on for Homer, Both showing that Stoke have strength and depth in the squad with both players having a great touch and picking out good options whilst there were on.
